Whether that's a good thing or not is purely subjective. The RWB's haven't really come to their own until I pushed them with a higher power amp. The Rex, on the other hand, made my little ... The Princeton Reverb is a favorite; although not one of mine. The C-Rex will make a PR65 louder, bassy-er, and add bit of headroom. My personal opinion is that the PR65 may not be loud enough.

I think that will make the same amp something like 2x as loud or more. So if you play mainly at home, with the C-Rex you will have a very loud and very clean amp. It has made the tone fatter, I have had to turn down the bass EQ. It has gotten rid of some of the harsh muddy tone that the stock speaker had. They're not dark so much as smooth. If the amp is already dark, you maybe should try something else. But as long as there's a reasonable amount of treble on tap, it will likely work.
