Clean each surface with cleaning solvent (I used mineral spirits) 3. Use a 7/16" (11.1mm) bolt as spacer between magnets. 4. When gluing, make sure all magnet champhers are aligned. 5. For best bonding, flywheel should lay flat for 24hrs. I taped mine in place to ensure they held position till the epoxy cured.

WebSorry to tell you this, but you CANNOT re-glue magnets to the flywheel once they have come off. They are placed in a very specific order and in very specific positions on the flywheel. It will NEVER work correctly. You must replace the flywheel. Don't wast any more time trying to fix it. WebSep 12, 2007 · The magnet that broke on mine sort of split leaving a small sliver still epoxied to the flywheel. When I knocked off the opposing magnet it did the same thing. The glue or the epoxy really isn't the issue, more or less the magnets are somewhat brittle and just break, kinda like glass. I don't think I would bother if I were you.
