WebRobert Frost wrote “Mending Wall” in 1914, at the peak of literary modernism. “Mending Wall” is one of his most well-known and well-appreciated poems. This poem narrates the story of a stone wall that is constructed between two properties of two neighbors in the countryside. Some unseen and unheard agents continually destroy this wall.
